Public Private Partnerships (PPPs) are becoming increasingly prevalent as a means of providing private sector investment and expertise working in partnership with Governments to deliver public services. In the Middle East a number of countries are establishing legislative frameworks for PPPs. So far in Saudi Arabia however, PPPs have been implemented on an ad-hoc basis with no formal strategic framework to deliver healthcare policy objectives. The aim of this workshop will be to demystify PPPs and to explore how their use can help to address the long-term issues facing healthcare in Saudi Arabia.
